Seed Catalog Description: From High Desert Seeds in Paonia, Co - This near black button shaped flower with white anthers are reminiscent of stars against a black sky, winning it’s farm nickname of “starry night”. Produces blooms that are 1.5 - 2” wide on long stocks making it great for the cutting garden. When seed heads form, they create unique conical shaped seed heads, that can be an interesting addition to bouquets. Had shown some drought tolerance. Is also used as a dye plant.
