Marigold, Mentawai Population

From High Desert Seeds in Paonia, Co - Annual. This is a breeding population of marigolds, named after the Mentawai people who honor the essence of beauty and the primordial forces of creation through the pursuit of aesthetic beauty, adorning their bodies with delicate spiral patterns and bright feathers. The breadth of color, shapes and textures of these flowers remind me of the Mentawai culture they are named for.
